Vintage Roy Rogers Cast Iron Toy Cap Gun by Kilgore. Kilgore Cast Iron toy cap Pistol,with its original box. Pistol is marked Roy Rogers. When the pistol was found it had masking tape wrapped around the grip. I removed the tape to see if there was any cracks in the plastic, no cracks. However, both sides of the grip are loose, they cannot be removed they are still attached to the gun frame, behind where it says Long Tom on the grip, thats where it seems to be detached. I have not attempted to clean or repair anything on this gun. On the grip it looks dirty, that is the glue from the masking tape. The gun does work, trigger fires, gun breaks open for loading. The gun shows some surface rust on the chamber. The box is in good solid condition.
